Hi, and welcome to my Website. I am sure that you find something in here that will
either amuse you or bore you to death - I am a pretty keen diver (when I can afford it!), so there is
a page here for the stuff that I have done concerning all of that. I am now a PADI Open Water Instructor (M.S.D.T.),
and look forward to a lot of teaching all over the world over the next few years.
I regularly go to The Red Sea to dive, and report back on my experiences there too, so if you
are a newby to the sport, then take a look from time to time to see what is up there. It is always good
to read others opinions on dive sites, and get as much information as you can. I have also been in Thailand
more recently around Koh Tao, as well as diving with Great White sharks in the Neptune Islands off the coast of South
Australia, with Rodney Fox, a shark guru from down under, and a survivor of a massive Great White shark attack. I
have been diving more recently in Komodo Marine Park and Indonesia, and will soon be boarding a 20 day liveaboard travelling
from Koh Tao along the Thailand and Malaysian coast to The Pernthians, on to Singapore for three days, and then up to Phuket,
with 45 dives along the way.
.: and the beat goes on...
This Website will be due for a review later in 2008, if for nothing else, to give me
something to keep me at home and off the streets. I welcome any
input from any of you, so if you have something to contribute with any ideas, be it video or
anything else, please let me know and I will build a Your Page to feature stuff on.
The Music Page is also a place where you can listen to and read
about some of the brilliant and interesting musicians that you will never hear on BBC Radio One,
unless you are very lucky indeed, or they start to play serious jazz/funk/latin which is unlikely
to say the least! At the moment there is a feature on Four80East, but this changes from time to time.
I will try to keep a good lot
of photos happening on the Photos page, over 500 images there now. The media page will have various
clips of stuff on it that will be worth seeing....if not just random footage of somewhere in the UK to
feast your eyes on. The rest will become obvious as you explore each page and see just what is meant
by this lengthy intro. I will leave you to see the rest of it then...enjoy!
This site was originally launched in early December, 2002, and you are visitor number to these pages.
Simon Bowen is 48, living in Staffordshire, and an avid scuba diver. Having
completed his PADI MSDT, he now wants to travel the world and teach diving for a living. There is a Diving Page within
the site, and other pages offer information on whatI'm up to and where I am!
