Probably the most informative website in the world. There isn't much that you cant find out
about in this Website. It has some great interfaces and allows you to "Listen Again" to all of its Radio
content that is broadcast here in the UK. Amazing, with great graphics, media and brilliant content. You
must take a look here if you like the Internet, if you haven't already done so.
This is the site for Real Player and it can be downloaded for free from here. They also offer other types
of player that you have to subscribe to as well if that is what you want, but the Real Player Basic
version will be able to handle all that you can throw at it from the Internet. A must have if you go to
the BBC Website to get information or see the news etc., and quite a good player overall.
Absolutely brilliant online auction site. Get buying! You can get some good stuff here...I got a Drum Kit
and my car from eBay, and both were excellent value for money indeed. Great way to sell stuff too,
and the size of the market place is massive. You do get the odd idiot on there, but that happens in
Tesco's too don't forget, they are certainly out there.
No, it isn't a typo... this is a truly fantastic Flash games Website that is extremely addictive, and very clever in its nature. There
are a multitude of games to choose from here, and I am sure that you will find something there to help
you while away the hours whilst you are at work....
This is a cool Website for the great Pat Metheny and his band. There are plenty of things to see here,
and you can even see where he is playing to make yourselves really ill with jealousy. I am sure that
anyone that likes jazz will want to bookmark this site as it is a minefield of information.
Yet another cool musicians Website, and yes Tim, he is playing London on July 3rd and 4th,
and yes, I will definitely be seeing him live. This is another great site with his touring, massive
music biography and just about anything else that you would want to know about the guy short of
playing with him. Amazing player.
There are so many music sites I could put up here, and possibly will feature quite a few, but there are
some that have to start the ball rolling and here is one of them. I saw Spyro in Milan in 2004, and
they were amazing to say the least. They are certainly an amazing band with a long, long history behind them, so worth
having a look and a listen if you get the opportunity.
Yet another great act that have been around for years and years, in many line ups as well. They
started out selling tapes to Virgin as pre-flight tunes for people using their aircraft(!), and are
now one of the premier jazz/smooth jazz outfits in the world. They constantly tour and record, and
we are lucky enough to have them in May in the UK for a tour starting in London, with a few other
regional venues as well. I am seeing them as well at The Warwick Arts Centre on the 13th May (with
Julian Crampton as bass player).
This site is worth a look if you want to go diving with one of the worlds best wreck divers. I have met
people that have been on some of the boats and they say the destinations and the crew and
boats are incredible. They would need to be for the prices they charge, but you do get what you pay
for in this game. If you dont dive yet have a look at some of the boats they have, that might
change your mind!
This site is excellent too, and I have been to Egypt with Emporer twice to both Hurghada and to Sharm
El Sheikh. I think they are a well run outfit, with plenty going on and good dive guides that are
usually instructor level, and have been in the area for a few years as well. Plenty of information
here if you want to go to Egypt for the first time or are thinking of doing some course or other as they
can train you to instructor level there.
